Distilled at Glenturret in 1977 and matured for 44 years in an ex-sherry butt, Release 27 is a deeply aged Highland single malt with an emphasis on fruit rather than heavy wood. Its long maturation develops rich dried-fruit and nutty notes while preserving a bright, expressive character.

Flavor Profile

Plum, mango, candied apricot and toffee lead into floral sweetness, gentle tannin and liquorice. Sherry and nutty Madeira-like notes linger on the finish.
