Release 29 takes The Last Drop’s 1971 blended Scotch in a distinctive direction. One remaining cask was transferred into a barrel that had previously held the brand’s very old Jamaican rum. That additional maturation adds tropical fruit and dark molasses to a whisky already shaped by decades in oak.

Flavor Profile

Banana and spice on the nose, followed by caramelised pineapple, treacle, cinnamon and liquorice. The finish brings together seasoned oak and the rum cask’s deeper sweetness.
