Shipping policy
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 3–15 business days (as noted in the product description where applicable). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Orders are shipped once per week. Orders are shipped in full; if any item requires additional processing time, the entire order will be held until all items are ready.
Shipping Rates & Methods
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and carrier rates.
We ship via GLS, FedEx, and UPS.
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times vary by location (e.g., West Coast: 1–3 business days).
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Adult Signature Requirement
All alcohol shipments require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery. A valid government-issued ID must be presented.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to state regulations, we are unable to ship alcohol to certain locations.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that alcohol shipments are permitted in their destination state.
Carrier Responsibility
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, the carrier assumes responsibility for transit, delivery, and handling.
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To process a claim, we require:
- A description of the damage
- Photos of the product(s)
- Photos of the shipping box and all packaging
Claims without proper documentation may be denied. Damaged items must be returned as instructed to receive a refund or replacement.
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery.
If a package is lost in transit, a minimum of 10 business days from the last carrier update is required before a claim can be initiated.
Incorrect Addresses & Returns
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Orders returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses will be subject to:
- Return shipping and carrier fees
- A 20% restocking fee
Reshipping requests will incur additional charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Address changes must be requested immediately. If an order has already shipped, any rerouting or address correction fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
Weather & Temperature Disclaimer
Exposure to extreme heat or cold during transit may damage or spoil certain products.
By selecting shipping during extreme weather conditions, the customer accepts all associated risks.
Unwind Bottle Shop and its carriers are not responsible for temperature-related damage, and such damage is not covered by carrier insurance.
Limited / Rare Bottle Shipping
Due to the limited nature of certain products, orders may be subject to additional verification prior to shipment.
