The brighter, fruit-forward half of Subtle Spirits’ Echo & Reverb pair. Echo begins with a 100% malted barley blend of single malts from Scotland, Virginia, and California, then receives a final rest in freshly emptied Wild Turkey bourbon barrels for roundness and lift.

Tasting Notes

Lychee, green papaya, and mango meet Manuka honey and toasted sandalwood on the nose. The palate brings ripe sultanas, toasted marshmallow, dark honey, bright lemon zest, and a delicate thread of smoke.

About the Release

Created as companion expressions, Echo and Reverb began from the same malt blend and diverged through different finishing casks. Blended by Joshua Thinnes, then further matured and bottled in Ukiah, California. The label artwork is part of a paired original work by artist Nick Bultman. Only 390 bottles of each expression were produced.
