Selection Details: Selected by the Unwind Barrel Selection Team along with Rare Character's Co-Founder, Peter Nevenglosky. We selected our barrel blind from proof and age. After trying this side by side with the highly sought-after Brook Hill, our tasting team wanted to name this barrel 'Baby Brook' as it resembled a similar viscous mouth feel and flavor profile but comes in at a much cheaper price point.

Tasting Notes: A viscous mouthfeel gives this whiskey a rich, full-bodied presence. On the nose and front palate, strong notes of vanilla dominate, transitioning smoothly into the mid-palate, where hints of light oak begin to emerge. As the flavor develops, butterscotch adds a layer of sweetness, rounding out the profile. The finish is nuanced, with delicate touches of black pepper and tobacco leaf, providing a slightly spicy conclusion.
