Old Louisville Bourbon 9 Year Double Oaked Single Barrel 750ml [Unwind Store Pick]

We selected this barrel after blind tasting 8 different barrels from Old Louisville (including 9 year bourbons, double oaked, and Bardstown Bourbon distillate 8 year) and dozens of other barrel candidates from other unique distilleries. This bottle consistently showed up as one of our favorites!

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Cinnamon raisin bread drizzled with vanilla frosting and topped with brown sugar crumbles and marshmallows.

Taste: Very soft to start with flavors of eucalyptus, pine resin, mixed nuts, worn leather, with the addition of cinnamon and clove spice along the dark fruits.

Finish: Silky on the lips and gentle building of heat through the flavors of sweet complex fruits, long finish that involves dark chocolate and warm buttered toast.
