Michter’s might be my favorite distillery. Their lower entry proof means they add less water to get down to this proof point and, to me, that is a reason for the flavor. It’s a peppery spice both on the nose and the palate, the palate adds some baking spice to me that pairs well with the vanilla and toffee I get as well for sweetness. Outstanding rye to start your rye journey with.
