We blind tasted through 7 different barrels from Green River from varying proofs (118.9-129.8pf), and we picked our standout barrel at 122.9pf (bottled at 124.6pf). In the back half of this year, we have tasted through more than 30 barrels now, including the highly sought after Found North. Notably, it was also much better than the regular Green River Full Proof, which has been receiving endless praise this year for its quality and price point.

Tasting Notes: 

Nose: Fresh peanut and peanut brittle with apple spice and vanilla.

Palate: Honey, caramel, and soft oak with notes of pear, sunflower seeds, and baking spices

Finish: Medium richness with roasted peanuts and a Red Hots cinnamon candy to finish
