El Tesoro Tequila Añejo is the core aged expression from La Alteña Distillery in the Jalisco highlands — one of Mexico's most storied and respected tequila houses, producing El Tesoro since 1937. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave using the traditional tahona stone crushing method, El Tesoro Añejo is aged for 2–3 years in ex-bourbon barrels, developing extraordinary depth and complexity while preserving the vibrant, natural agave character that defines the brand. The tahona process extracts a fuller, more complex agave character than modern roller mills, and the extended aging refines it into something truly special.
