El Tequileno Meets The Sassenach. Double Wood. Singular Result.

El Tequileno has been crafting exceptional tequila in Jalisco since 1959 using traditional methods and estate-grown agave. The Sassenach Select Double Wood Reposado is a limited edition collaboration with The Sassenach brand — a special expression that takes El Tequileno's renowned reposado through a double wood maturation process, adding layers of complexity and depth that go well beyond a traditional rested tequila. A collector's release for enthusiasts who appreciate the art of finishing.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich agave sweetness, vanilla, caramel, and baking spices with hints of dried fruit from the double wood influence
Palate: Layered and complex — bright agave character intertwined with warm oak, vanilla, caramel, and the added depth of the second wood finish
Finish: Smooth and lingering with warm spice, vanilla, and a refined agave sweetness
