Yamazaki 12 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky is an iconic expression from Japan's first and oldest malt whisky distillery. Established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii in the Vale of Yamazaki, this legendary distillery has pioneered Japanese whisky-making for over a century.
This exceptional 12-year-old single malt is meticulously crafted using the finest malted barley and the pure waters of the Yamazaki region. What sets this whisky apart is its unique maturation in a carefully selected combination of American oak, Spanish oak, and rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks. This diverse cask selection creates extraordinary complexity and depth of flavor.
The result is a beautifully balanced whisky with a signature soft, elegant character—notes of honey, orange peel, white peach, and subtle spice, complemented by the distinctive influence of Mizunara oak.
