Named for the New Orleans barman who popularized the Sazerac cocktail, Handy is a whiskey that commands attention from the first pour.
Each vintage is released once a year at varying proof, typically among the highest in the Antique Collection. The color is a deep, burnished amber. The nose is explosive — cinnamon, clove, black pepper, and dried citrus peel over a rich undercurrent of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, the full proof rye character is bold and assertive: waves of baking spice, dark fruit, toasted grain, and a long, fiery finish that is as complex as it is memorable. This is rye whiskey at its most uncompromising.
