Eddie Russell's Rye Selection

Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Rye Whiskey is a hand-selected, single barrel expression from Wild Turkey's Master Distiller Eddie Russell — a Kentucky straight rye aged in No. 4 alligator char barrels and bottled at 104 proof without chill filtration, delivering the full, uncompromising character of a single exceptional barrel. Every barrel is unique, and every bottle is a direct expression of Eddie Russell's personal standard for what great Kentucky rye should taste like.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold and inviting — caramel, vanilla, and an intense rye spice with notes of toasted oak, dark fruit, and a warm, honeyed sweetness
Palate: Full-bodied and richly layered — black pepper, cinnamon, and a building rye spice with a rich caramel sweetness and a deep, warming oak character from the No. 4 alligator char
Finish: Long and warming with lingering rye spice, dark fruit, and a clean, dignified oak warmth
