Rubin Company is located in Serbia, in the south-east part of Europe, on the terrain which is ideal for viniculture, at the latitude where the world’s most famous wineries and wine-growing areas are found – Bordeaux in France and Tuscany in Italy. It is the biggest manufacturer of grapes, wine and hard liquor in the country, with a tradition of over 60 years. It owns the largest surfaces of vineyards in the season’s harvest – 1200 hectares, and the largest number of wines with protected geographical origin in the country. The advantage of the company is the full circle of wine production: From personal vineyards, to cooper workshop where barrels are made, to the production of wine of top-notch quality.
The wine cellar of the Company has the capacity of 22.5 million liters, whereas the capacity of the cellar for beverage such as cognac is 15 million liters, from which 6 million is in oak barrels (12,000 oak barrels of 500 l for ripening of distillate), which makes it one of the largest wood cellars in Europe.
Rubin’s portfolio includes wines and hard liquor, with more than 80 products. In the wine category there are table wines, quality wines and vintage wines, as well as sparkling wines which are made according to the classic Champenoise method. Rubin’s brandy, vodka, wormwood wine, liqueurs for cocktails and home-made brandies are renowned names in the category of hard liquor. New
tin-products are a significant innovation in the production of alcoholic beverages: Spritzer and Cola-Brandy.
The company’s annual sales exceed 17 million liters of alcoholic beverages. The products are exported in more than 20 world countries, from the USA to Australia. On foreign markets, one can compete exclusively with quality. The Chinese market has recognized the quality of the Rubin products, and the most used are barrique wines, among other vintage wines and Brandy, which
have also been distinguished as significant categories for export to this country. There is a special interest on the Chinese and American markets for the new tin-products: Spritzer and Cola-Brandy.
