Ransom Spirits in Sheridan, Oregon is one of the most historically minded craft distilleries in America — founded by winemaker Tad Seestedt with a dedication to pre-Prohibition production methods and heritage grain varieties. Their Rye Barley Wheat Whiskey is a multi-grain expression that draws on the full complexity of three grains: rye for spice, malted barley for depth, and wheat for softness.
Distilled in a traditional alembic pot still and aged in a combination of new and used oak, this is a whiskey that defies easy categorization — part rye, part malt, part wheat, entirely its own thing. Oregon terroir meets pre-Prohibition craft in every bottle.
