Onyx & Amber is proud to introduce Guest Blend Batch 2 — an 8-barrel blend of bourbons distilled in Indiana and Kentucky, aged 10 to 13 years, and bottled at 113.3 proof. This limited release brings together mature oak, rich sweetness, and a beautifully balanced profile in a bourbon made to be poured, shared, and remembered.

Guest Blend Batch 2 was crafted by Bill and Dara Zeier, the husband-and-wife duo behind The Average Drinker — known for their honest, down-to-earth approach to whiskey and multiple Double Platinum wins at Fred Minnick's ASCOT Awards, including a 2024 Best in Category Single Barrel Pick.

After tasting through more than 30 barrels at Onyx & Amber, Bill and Dara spent months building this blend from the base up — not to make just another 10-plus-year bourbon, but to create a whiskey with depth, warmth, and personality. The kind of bottle that makes you slow down, take another sip, and want to share it with someone else.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Buttermilk waffle, rich French vanilla oak, blueberry-blackberry jam.
• Palate: Brown sugar, butter, light cinnamon, vanilla wafers, and dark berries — followed by a subtle tingly effervescence reminiscent of cream soda.
• Finish: Long and satisfying, with a full mouthfeel and lingering French vanilla oak.
