Jamaican Rum Meets America's Finest Rye

Myers's Rum Signature Cask Collection Thomas H. Handy Edition is a distinctive and innovative expression that takes Myers's classic Jamaican dark rum and finishes it in barrels previously used to age Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye — one of the most celebrated and sought-after rye whiskeys in America, part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. The result is a rum of extraordinary complexity that bridges two great spirits traditions: the rich, dark, molasses-driven character of Jamaican rum enriched by the bold, spicy, uncut character of Thomas H. Handy rye barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold and distinctive — dark fruit, molasses, and toasted oak with notes of rye spice, caramel, and the bold, uncut character of Thomas H. Handy barrel influence
Palate: Rich and deeply layered — dark fruit, rye spice, and a warming oak with a satisfying complexity from the Thomas H. Handy rye barrel finish
Finish: Long and warming with lingering dark fruit, rye spice, and a clean, bold oak warmth
