La Adelita Tequila Reposado — named for the brave women soldiers of the Mexican Revolution — is aged for 3 months in second-use American Oak whiskey barrels that are re-toasted in Mexico to a medium toast. The re-toasting process opens up the wood and adds a distinctive layer of caramelized oak character that sets La Adelita Reposado apart from standard barrel-aged expressions.
