King of Kentucky 17 Year Bourbon
King of Kentucky is Brown-Forman's ultra-premium, limited annual release — a barrel proof Kentucky straight bourbon selected from the finest aged stocks at the Brown-Forman Distillery in Shively, KY. The 17 Year expression represents one of the most age-forward releases in the lineup, delivering the extraordinary complexity that only nearly two decades in charred new American oak can produce.
Bottled at full barrel proof without chill filtration, each release is a distinct and unrepeatable expression of time, wood, and craft. Quantities are extremely limited and allocations are tightly controlled.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Deep oak, dark caramel, dried cherry, leather, and a hint of tobacco and dark chocolate
Palate: Bold and richly layered — toffee, baking spice, aged wood, dark fruit, and a commanding barrel proof presence that opens beautifully with time or a few drops of water
Finish: Exceptionally long with lingering oak, dried fruit, vanilla, and warm spice
