Islay at Full Power

Kilchoman is one of Islay's youngest and most exciting distilleries — a farm distillery founded in 2005 that grows, malts, distils, and bottles its own whisky on the island, making it one of the few truly end-to-end producers in Scotland. The Batch Strength expression is Kilchoman at its most uncompromising: bottled at natural cask strength without dilution or chill filtration, it delivers the full, raw power of Islay peat smoke alongside the distillery's signature fresh, fruity character. Each batch is unique, reflecting the specific casks selected for that release.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold and coastal — fresh peat smoke, sea salt, and citrus with a warm vanilla sweetness and notes of green apple and barley
Palate: Full-bodied and intense at cask strength — peat smoke, tropical fruit, and a warming spice that builds powerfully over a foundation of fresh, coastal sweetness
Finish: Long and smoky with lingering peat, sea salt, and a clean, coastal warmth that fades slowly
