Special Forces. Wheated. Small Batch. Award-Winning.

Horse Soldier Bourbon is founded by a group of U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers who rode on horseback into Afghanistan in the days after 9/11 — a brand built on the values of courage, honor, and brotherhood. The Signature Small Batch Bourbon is the approachable expression of that mission: a wheated bourbon made from small batches of meticulously blended mature bourbon, non-chill filtered for full-bodied character, and extraordinarily complex with notes of vanilla, ginger, and cherries. A bourbon that honors the men behind the bottle in every sip.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla, ginger, and cherries with warm caramel and a gentle wheated sweetness
Palate: Smooth and complex — vanilla, dark cherry, warm ginger spice, and soft oak with the full-bodied character of non-chill filtered wheated bourbon
Finish: Long and decadent with lingering cherry, vanilla, and a warm, satisfying close
