Home Base Bourbon is the flagship expression from Iowa's Cedar Ridge Distillery—a balanced, grain-forward whiskey that showcases the quality of sustainably grown Midwestern ingredients. This 750 mL bourbon is crafted with corn, malted wheat, and a generous amount of malted barley, creating a distinctive flavor profile that sets it apart from traditional high-corn bourbons.

Tasting Profile:

Honey, maple, and nut notes from high malt content
Classic caramel, toffee, and vanilla from new American oak
Balanced, grain-forward character
Smooth, approachable finish
Versatile for sipping or mixing

Aged in new American oak barrels at char level 4, Home Base Bourbon allows the unique flavors from the high malt content to complement the traditional bourbon notes. This is a whiskey that reveals its many nuances whether enjoyed neat, over ice, or mixed into warm or cold cocktails. Perfect for bourbon enthusiasts seeking craft quality and the distinctive character of Iowa grain.
