Hudson Valley. Estate Grown. Solera Aged.

Hillrock Estate Distillery sits in the Hudson Valley of New York — one of America's most celebrated farm distilleries, growing its own grain on the estate and using a traditional solera aging system to produce a bourbon of extraordinary depth and consistency. The solera method — borrowed from the world of Sherry and Cognac — involves continuously topping off older barrels with younger whiskey, creating a living blend that carries threads of the oldest spirit in every bottle. Master Blender Dave Pickerell (of Maker's Mark fame) helped develop the program, and the results speak for themselves.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Rich caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak, and warm vanilla with a subtle Hudson Valley terroir character
  • Palate: Smooth and complex — toffee, dark cherry, baking spice, and a layered depth from the solera aging process
  • Finish: Long and elegant with lingering caramel, spice, and a refined, estate-grown close
