Tequila Herradura Añejo is aged to perfection in American white oak barrels for 25 months — an extraordinary 13 months beyond the industry standard minimum. Produced at Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, one of Mexico's oldest and most storied distilleries, Herradura Añejo is made from 100% Blue Weber agave using traditional methods that have defined the brand since 1870. The extended aging imparts a remarkably smooth, amber-colored spirit with rich flavors of cooked agave, toasted oak, and dried fruit.

One of the benchmarks of the añejo category — Herradura Añejo is the expression for the drinker who appreciates what an extra year in barrel can do to a great tequila.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Cooked agave, toasted oak, dried fruit, vanilla, and warm spice
  • Palate: Remarkably smooth — agave sweetness, toasted oak, dried fruit, caramel, and gentle spice
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering agave, oak, and dried fruit complexity
