GlenAllachie Distillery in Aberlour, Speyside has earned a reputation as one of Scotland's most innovative and quality-driven single malt producers under Master Distiller Billy Walker. This single cask expression was distilled in 2015 and matured for 10 years in a rare Mizunara oak cask (#1951) — a wood type native to Japan that is extraordinarily difficult to work with and imparts flavors found in no other cask type in the whisky world. Bottled at cask strength 60.4% ABV without chill filtration, this is a whisky of singular character and remarkable complexity.

• Nose: Exotic and inviting — sandalwood, coconut, and Mizunara spice with ripe stone fruit, vanilla cream, and a delicate incense-like aromatic quality
