Shipping Rates

Shipping starts at $14.99 for the first bottle, plus $2.99 per additional bottle (up to 5 bottles total).

Standard Shipping Tiers:

  • 1–5 bottles: $14.99 + $2.99 per additional bottle
  • 6–9 bottles: Flat rate $24.99
  • 10–14 bottles: $39.99 + $2.99 per additional bottle
  • 15–18 bottles: Flat rate $49.99

Our boxes hold up to 9 bottles (depending on size). Orders over 9 bottles will ship in multiple boxes.

Shipping

An adult (21+) signature and valid ID are required upon delivery.

Orders are typically shipped 1-2 times per week. Tracking information will be provided once the carrier has received and scanned the package.

Processing times may vary. Some items may require 3–15 business days to process (as noted in the product description), in addition to standard shipping timelines. Orders are shipped in full; if any item in the order requires additional processing time, the entire order will be held until all items are ready.

All delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. If you require delivery by a specific date, please contact us prior to placing your order.

We offer expedited shipping options for an additional fee.

We ship via GLS, FedEx, or UPS. Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, the carrier assumes responsibility for delivery, including transit time and handling.

In-Store Pickup

Orders may be placed online and picked up in store by selecting In-Store Pickup at checkout.
Orders are considered ready for pickup once a “Ready for Pickup” notification has been issued.

Orders must be picked up within 30 days of notification.

After 30 days, a $10 per week storage fee will apply (maximum $40 per order).

Orders not picked up within 60 days will be cancelled without notice.
Cancelled orders will be converted to store credit, less applicable storage fees (up to $40 per order).

VIP Access Pickup
Bottles won through VIP Access must be picked up within 14 days of notification.
Unclaimed bottles will be forfeited and reassigned and are not eligible for store credit.
Failure to pick up may impact future VIP Access eligibility.

Customers are responsible for monitoring order status and pickup timelines.
Unwind Bottle Shop is not responsible for missed or undelivered notifications.

Extended hold requests must be made in advance and are granted at our discretion.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled prior to processing or fulfillment, subject to a 10% cancellation fee. This includes, but is not limited to, pre-orders and customer-initiated errors.

Once an order has been processed or fulfilled, it is no longer eligible for cancellation.

If an order has already shipped, the customer is responsible for all return-related costs, including return shipping, insurance, and any associated fees.

Gift cards are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

Unwind Bottle Shop reserves the right to cancel any order at its discretion.

Final Sales & Returns

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges.

Prices are subject to change at any time. We do not offer refunds, credits, or price adjustments for prior purchases. Promotions and discounts apply only during their stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively.

If a shipment is returned after failed delivery attempts, the order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, in addition to return shipping, freight, and any associated fees. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Reshipping requests will incur additional charges.

Address changes must be requested immediately. If an order has already shipped, any rerouting or address correction fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

If Shipping is selected and the customer later requests In-Store Pickup, the shipping fee will be refunded less a 10% processing fee.

Product Availability & Accuracy Disclaimer

We make every effort to ensure product listings are accurate; however, details such as batch, vintage/year, bottle design, packaging, images, titles, and descriptions may vary and are not guaranteed.

Inventory is updated regularly but may not always reflect real-time availability. In the event an item is unavailable after purchase, we will contact you to resolve the issue and issue a refund for the affected item(s).

If you are seeking a specific variation, please contact us prior to placing your order.

Unwind Bottle Shop reserves the right to cancel any order prior to delivery at its discretion.

Limited Items

Certain products may have purchase limits (e.g., Limit 1 per customer). These limits apply regardless of system allowances at checkout.

Orders that exceed stated limits may be cancelled and subject to a 10% fee.

Accounts that repeatedly violate purchase limits may be restricted, suspended, or removed from our Rewards Program.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are for products that are not currently in stock but are expected to arrive.

Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed and may be subject to delays outside of our control. We will fulfill and release orders as soon as the product becomes available.

All pre-orders are subject to our standard cancellation and final sale policies.

Delays or supplier limitations may impact fulfillment. In such cases, orders may be adjusted or cancelled at our discretion.

Damaged in Transit / Loss

If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To process a claim, we require:

  • A description of the damage
  • Photos of the damaged product(s)
  • Photos of the shipping box and all packaging materials

Claims submitted without proper documentation may be denied. Damaged items must be returned as instructed in order to receive a refund or replacement.

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery.

If a package is lost in transit, a minimum of 10 business days from the last carrier update is required before a claim can be initiated.

Extreme Weather Disclaimer

Exposure to extreme heat or cold during transit may damage or spoil wine and other temperature-sensitive products.

If extreme weather conditions are expected, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping method or requesting a delayed shipment until conditions improve.

Unwind Bottle Shop and its shipping carriers are not responsible for damage caused by temperature fluctuations during transit. Weather-related damage is not covered by carrier insurance and is not eligible for refund or replacement.

In-store pricing may differ from online pricing.

OUR WAREHOUSE IS LOCATED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. NON-CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR DETERMINING IF THEIR STATE OR LOCAL LAWS ALLOW ALCOHOL PRODUCTS TO BE SHIPPED TO THEIR STATE OR COUNTY. 

  • We do not ship outside the U.S.
  • The United States Postal Service (“USPS”) prohibits the sending of intoxicating liquors having 0.5 percent (0.5%) or more alcoholic content are nonmailable through USPS. Taxable liquors (as defined by Chapter 51, Internal Revenue Service Code) with 3.2 percent (3.2%) or less alcohol, including those obtained under a prescription or as a collector’s item, also are nonmailable. The prohibition of the mailing of intoxicating liquors is contained in federal law (18 U.S.C. 1716).
    • Consequently, Unwind Bottle Shop will not arrange for any carrier to deliver to a P.O. box under any circumstances.

Warning: Certain states expressly prohibit the direct importation of alcohol and violation can be punishable as a misdemeanor or felony. Please contact your local alcoholic beverage control agency or the receiving jurisdictions equivalent for further information. In addition, other restrictions may apply as some states limit the quantity and type of products that may be shipped to an individual address. We are not able to provide any legal advice.

Age Verification and 21+ Year Old Signature Required upon Delivery:

You must be at least 21 years of age to place an order with us, and the signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.

Unwind Bottle Shop reserves the right to ask for proof of identity before allowing you access to the Website or allowing you to purchase a Product(s).

By placing an order you verify that you and/ or any order recipients are at least twenty-one (21) years of age. At the time of delivery you and/or the order recipient must sign an age verification receipt stating that they are at least twenty-one (21) years of age and must present a valid driver’s license, military ID, passport or State ID for identification. All shipments must be signed for.

According to shipping carrier policies, if there is not an individual at least twenty-one (21) years of age present to sign for the package, and three (3) unsuccessful delivery attempts have been made at the recipient's address, the package will be returned to the shipper. 


Title to Goods:

Laws concerning the sale and shipping of alcoholic beverages are complex and vary from state to state, and in some cases vary from county to county and could be prohibited in a particular town or municipality. Accordingly, you understand that you will be the legal owner of the product(s) that you purchase from immediately upon receipt of proper authorization and processing of your payment method, and any holds have been cleared. Title to all alcoholic beverages purchased on this Site pass to you in the State of California when the goods are picked up by the common carrier. 


Shipping Laws:

You are responsible for abiding by all state and local laws, rules, and regulations of your state pertaining to the receipt of alcoholic beverages from out of state.  You additionally represent you have obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, are working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, and that the receiver of the package containing your order is legally entitled to receive and take possession of the delivery of the package. You further represent you are legally entitled to take possession of the quantities of alcoholic beverages ordered, and that you and the person accepting delivery of the alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age. For clarity, both the Purchaser and the intended recipient must be at least 21 years of age.


Appointment of Common Carrier:

By making a purchase on our Site, you are asking us to appoint a common carrier and arrange for transportation on your behalf for the delivery of alcoholic beverages and any other purchased merchandise to you. By making use of this service from Unwind Bottle Shop, you are representing you are acting in compliance with your local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. Accordingly, we make no representations or warranties concerning the legal requirements of shipping alcoholic beverages to your state; our Site merely provides a list of those states where common carriers have indicated their willingness to deliver alcohol. As such, you understand and acknowledge you are accountable and liable for compliance with all laws concerning such shipments to the state of delivery.


Purchaser’s Indemnification of Unwind Bottle Shop for Arrangement of Shipping Services on Purchaser’s Behalf:

Consequent to our acting as your agent for purposes of securing a common carrier on your behalf, Purchaser agrees and understands that Purchaser shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Unwind Bottle Shop and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, members, shareholders, managers, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, Service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, liability whatsoever, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, arising out of or relating to the arranging, securing, or facilitating, the shipment of alcoholic beverages on Seller’s behalf, including any and all claims that such shipment may violate any federal, state, or local regulation pertaining to the sale and shipment of alcoholic beverages.


Changes in Shipping Laws: 

Following the placement of any order, and prior to the goods being shipped, in the event the laws of your state change so as to make it illegal for you to import alcoholic beverages into your state, you may request a return of your order for a full refund, provided however, you have submitted proof to Unwind Bottle Shop, and its counsel, of regulations pertaining to such law changes. Keep in mind the mailing of intoxicating liquors of any kind through USPS is prohibited. Once an order has been transferred to a carrier for shipping, we can no longer accept transfer of title of the purchased goods. 


Shipment Charges, Method, Timing and Delivery: 

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, destination, and delivery method. 
  • The goods you purchase from us will be shipped from the State of California, where our warehouse is located. While Unwind Bottle Shop tries to make every effort to fulfill orders at a reasonable speed, all orders placed Monday through Friday will be shipped out within 1-10 business days.
  • All Ground shipments placed Monday through Friday before 4pm PST will be shipped out within 1-10 business days (Shipments placed during the holiday season may take longer to process). If the product is not currently in stock, delivery will be delayed.
  • All Express shipments placed Monday through Friday before 4pm PST will be shipped out the following business day (Shipments placed during the holiday season may take longer to process). If the product is not currently in stock delivery will be delayed.
  • Orders placed on Friday after business hours, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped out within 1-10 business days from the following Monday.
    • All goods must be signed for by an adult over the age of 21 for release of Delivery.    Deliveries will not be left at any address or with any individual without such signature. You are responsible for checking your order immediately upon delivery. Items must be reported as missing or incorrect within three (3) business days from the date of delivery.
    • In the event an incorrect product was shipped, you must submit a photo of the sealed bottle along with your order number in an email to Unwind Bottle Shop. If you are not contacted by us for any reason within 14 days of your email, please send another email from a different email address if possible. Please see the Return and Exchange Policy for more details on this situation. 


Address Change Requests:

If you need to change the shipping address after placing an order, please make the request promptly. We will make a good faith effort to accommodate the request, but there is no guarantee that the address change can be accomplished. Any fees or costs associated with an address change request will be passed on to the Purchaser.


No Insurance:

Unwind Bottle Shop does not offer insurance for any orders at this time.

  • Damage in Transit and Lost Packages. 
    • While Unwind Bottle Shop takes every precaution to ensure your order is packaged properly and arrives safely, spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects, catastrophic damage resulting in nearly complete loss of value, or a total loss of value are all possible to occur during shipping. Purchaser agrees and understands that Unwind Bottle Shop is not responsible for any such damages or loss, and Purchaser agrees and understands that any loss or damages incurred that occurs after the package/goods are transferred to the carrier shall be between Purchaser and the designated carrier.
    • Purchaser agrees and understands that Unwind Bottle Shop is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to: packages lost because of hold requests, delivery rescheduling, or lost during return shipping to Unwind Bottle Shop due to failed delivery to Purchaser as determined by the carrier.
  • Failed Deliveries Returned to Unwind Bottle Shop.
    • If the package is returned due to failed delivery or deemed by the carrier as undeliverable for any reason whatsoever, including an individual attempting to sign for the package while under the age of 21, a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
      • Note: If an order that was shipped free of charge or with discounted shipping for any reason whatsoever, we will deduct forty dollars ($40.00) from the refund for shipping and handling.
    • If the package is returned to Unwind Bottle Shop due to failed delivery or deemed undeliverable by the carrier for any reason whatsoever, and any product is not received in new, undamaged, resalable condition (i.e., no damage to product labeling or retail packaging as applicable), the determination of which is at our sole discretion, then no refund shall be issued to you. 
  • Limitation of Liability. UNWIND BOTTLE SHOP WILL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SITE, ANY ATTEMPT TO ORDER ANY OF THE GOODS THAT WE SELL, OR ANY ACTUAL TRANSACTION THAT YOU ENTER INTO WITH US, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER UNWIND BOTTLE SHOP HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES.   • Headings and Interpretation. All headings, titles, or captions in this Shipping Policy or any of our the Polices, are provided for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation or construction of any provisions contained herein. The terms "including" or "include" should be understood to mean "including without limitation" or "include without limitation," as appropriate. No provision of this Shipping Policy or any of our Policies shall be construed by any court or other judicial authority against any party hereto by reason of such party's being deemed to have drafted or structured such provisions.
  • Exclusive Jurisdiction and Venue. You agree that any and all disputes between Unwind Bottle Shop arising under or related to any transaction between the parties, the Shipping Policy or our other Policies shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of California and of the United States of America, without regard to conflicts of law principles and such suit, action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the Courts of the State of California in Contra Costa County, California or in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
