Texas Double-Barrel Mastery in Every Pour

Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas has long been a pioneer of Lone Star State bourbon, and Balmorhea stands as one of their most celebrated achievements. Named after the serene West Texas oasis town, this expression is a testament to patience and craft — aged four years in new American white oak barrels, then finished for an additional year in a second new American white oak barrel. The result is a bourbon of uncommon depth and sweetness that has earned its place among the finest American whiskeys.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich caramel and vanilla lead with layers of toasted oak, dried fruit, and a hint of Texas wildflower honey
Palate: Lush and full-bodied with brown sugar, dark cherry, baking spice, and a velvety butterscotch sweetness that coats the palate
Finish: Long and warming with lingering oak, toffee, and a gentle spice that fades gracefully
