A Legacy Poured Neat

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. is one of the most revered figures in bourbon history — a man who fought for quality standards that would eventually become the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Today, Buffalo Trace Distillery honors his legacy with the E.H. Taylor Small Batch, a meticulously crafted expression that blends select barrels aged in Taylor's century-old warehouses. This is bourbon with a pedigree, bottled in bond and built to impress.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Warm vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak with hints of dried fruit and a touch of spice
Palate: Rich and full-bodied with layers of toffee, dark cherry, baking spice, and a whisper of leather
Finish: Long, smooth, and warming — lingering notes of oak, vanilla, and sweet corn
