The Pinnacle of Château de Cognac

D'Ussé XO Château de Cognac is the ultimate expression from this celebrated house — an Extra Old designation requiring a minimum of ten years aging in French Limousin oak, produced at the legendary Château de Cognac, one of the oldest and most historic estates in the Cognac region. The XO represents the full realization of D'Ussé's ambition: a cognac of extraordinary depth, complexity, and luxury that honors the centuries-old heritage of Château de Cognac while delivering a bold, modern statement.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Profoundly complex — dried fruit, dark chocolate, and toasted Limousin oak with notes of leather, vanilla, and a deep, aged character that speaks to a decade or more in barrel
Palate: Luxuriously smooth — dried apricot, caramel, dark chocolate, and a warming oak spice with a silky mouthfeel and an extraordinary depth of complexity
Finish: Exceptionally long and warming with lingering dried fruit, chocolate, and a clean, dignified Limousin oak warmth
