The Perfect Pairing

The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is one of the whisky world's most deliberately crafted expressions — a Highland single malt designed from the ground up to complement the experience of a fine cigar. Master distiller Richard Paterson worked closely with cigar aficionados to create a whisky with the weight, richness, and complexity to stand up to bold tobacco flavours without being overwhelmed. The result is a multi-cask matured expression of remarkable depth: American white oak, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, Amoroso sherry, and Cabernet Sauvignon casks all contribute to a whisky that is simultaneously rich, smooth, and endlessly complex.

Nose: Deep and aromatic — dark chocolate, dried orange peel, and rich espresso with waves of dried fruit, leather, and a warming spice that invites the first sip
Palate: Bold and layered — dark cherry, toffee, and bitter chocolate with a warming spice and a rich, velvety mouthfeel that builds beautifully alongside a fine cigar
Finish: Long and satisfying with lingering dark fruit, chocolate, and a clean, warming oak fade
