Born in the Age of Prohibition

Cutty Sark has a history unlike any other Scotch whisky brand — it was created in 1923 specifically to be smuggled into Prohibition-era America, where demand for quality Scotch had never been higher. Named after the famous clipper ship, Cutty Sark became one of the most iconic blended Scotch whiskies of the 20th century, its distinctive yellow label a symbol of quality and a little rebellious spirit. The Prohibition edition pays tribute to that audacious heritage with a bolder, more intense expression than the classic blend — a whisky that carries the same spirit of defiance that made Cutty Sark legendary.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Bold and characterful — vanilla, dried fruit, and a warm spice with notes of toasted grain, honey, and a hint of smoke
Palate: Full-bodied and robust — toffee, dark fruit, and a warming spice that builds with confidence over a foundation of rich malt sweetness
Finish: Long and warming with lingering spice, dried fruit, and a satisfying, bold oak fade
