Speyside's Most Rebellious Single Malt

Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a whisky that refuses to conform — a Speyside single malt of extraordinary character that proudly retains the sulphury, meaty, and deeply complex notes that most distilleries try to eliminate. Produced at Craigellachie Distillery using traditional worm tub condensers (rather than modern shell-and-tube condensers), the spirit retains a distinctive heaviness and depth that sets it apart from every other Speyside malt. Seventeen years of maturation in carefully selected casks has amplified this character into something truly remarkable.

Nose: Bold and complex — ripe tropical fruit, vanilla, and a distinctive sulphury depth with notes of toasted oak, dried fruit, and a warm, meaty richness
Palate: Full-bodied and deeply layered — dark fruit, toffee, and a warming spice with a characteristic heaviness and a depth of complexity that rewards patient exploration
Finish: Long and warming with lingering fruit, spice, and a clean, dignified oak warmth
