Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks, and ex-sherry hogsheads, The Original Ten achieves a complexity and depth that far exceeds its age.

The nose is fresh, vibrant, and immediately appealing — ripe green apple, vanilla cream, and a gentle floral sweetness are lifted by warm hints of cinnamon and toasted coconut from the virgin oak. On the palate, it's lively and well-rounded: orchard fruit, toffee, soft honey, and a gentle spice build in layers, with the virgin oak adding a pleasing nuttiness and structure that gives the whisky a satisfying backbone.
