Texas Single Malt, Boldly Reimagined
Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas has been rewriting the rules of American craft whiskey since 2008, and Cateja is one of their most distinctive expressions. A Texas single malt built from 100% malted barley and aged in new American oak, it delivers a whiskey that is unmistakably Texan — bold, rich, and unapologetically full-flavored. The name Cateja references the Spanish word for a type of chain, nodding to the interconnected layers of flavor that define this whiskey.
