Small Batch Rye, Unfiltered and Unapologetic

Old Carter Whiskey Co. was founded by Mark and Sherri Carter, the visionary duo behind some of the most celebrated independent bottlings in American whiskey. With Batch #16, they continue their tradition of sourcing exceptional straight rye whiskey and bottling it at cask strength — no chill filtration, no added color, just pure, honest spirit. Each batch is a one-time release, making every bottle a collector's moment.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich dried fruit, toasted oak, and warm baking spice with a hint of dark cherry and vanilla cream
Palate: Bold rye spice up front — black pepper, cinnamon, and clove — balanced by caramel, toffee, and a touch of leather
Finish: Long and warming with lingering spice, dried herbs, and a whisper of dark chocolate
