La Gritona Reposado Tequila is a subtle, additive-free rested tequila distilled by Melly Barajas and her all-women staff at her small distillery in Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco (NOM 1533). La Gritona — "The Shouting Woman" — is a brand built on the strength and independence of the women who make it, and the tequila reflects that uncompromising character.

Melly distills La Gritona only with agave that has fully matured — always between 8 and 10 years old — sourced exclusively from the iron-rich red soil of the Jalisco highlands. The pinas are put into ovens within 24 hours of trimming, preserving the peak sugar content. La Gritona IS and ALWAYS has been additive-free.
