The Manhattan is a classic and sophisticated cocktail made with whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. Traditionally, it is stirred with ice and served "up" in a chilled coupe or cocktail glass, and garnished with a cocktail cherry.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. rye whiskey
- 1 oz. sweet red vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
