Due to limited availability of Weller bottles, we will be using our new Store Pick Point System for our Whiskey Club members to determine the distribution of this barrel. Supporting our Whiskey Club and purchasing our Store Picks are the best chances to secure a bottle of our Weller Store Pick and possible future Allocated Store Picks at or near MSRP. The Store Pick Point System is unrelated to the VIP Access Points System, but you will still get reward points for spending. This Weller Store Pick will not be a Quarterly or Monthly Whiskey Club Subscription bottle. Reminder: Our Whiskey Club gets priority access to our Store Picks. Our Weller barrel is considered a Store Pick and should arrive middle of next year.
Our system will track the following points:
+1 point for each Monthly Whiskey Club Subscription bottle
+1 point for each Quarterly Whiskey Club Subscription bottle
+1 point for each Unwind Bottle Shop Store Pick outside of our Whiskey Club Subscription
-1 point for each cancellation since Whiskey Club announcement date (July 18)

2. Unwind Bottle Shop Store Picks starting from our Old Louisville 10 Year Store Pick

Minimum 3 points to be considered and must be currently in the Whiskey Club.
Limit one Weller bottle per account but not guaranteed a bottle.
Points end when Weller Barrel Pick sells out.
Weller barrel expected next year.
The number of points you have will determine your ranking in our distribution of this bottle.
Based on your ranking, we will send out emails to purchase the bottle.
In the scenario of more Whiskey Club Members than supply (with bottom ties) when the barrel arrives, we will be randomly selecting for the opportunity to purchase a bottle until bottles run out for those in bottom ties.
Ex. 3 Members and 2 Weller SP. There is 1 Members with 2 points and 2 Members with 1 point. The Member with 2 points secures 1 bottle of Weller SP, and the bottom 2 Members will have the opportunity to be randomly selected for 1 bottle.
In the scenario of more supply than Whiskey Club Members/Whiskey Club Members with at least 3 points when the barrel arrives, it will be first come, first serve as Whiskey Club Members reach at least 3 points. After 30 days of barrel arriving and scenario 1 and 2 are not met, remaining bottles may go to Non-Whiskey Club Members who have purchased 3 or more Store Picks under the criteria above.
Future Allocated Barrel Picks may include Weller, Stagg, EH Taylor, Blanton’s, Eagle Rare, etc. This is not guaranteed, but it is the typical trajectory for the Sazerac Barrel Program. Expected 1-2 picks per year. Due to the variability and availability of Allocated Barrels, we will follow up on how to get future picks.
