Enacted in 1897, the Bottled in Bond distinction is one of the oldest and most rigorous quality standards in American whiskey: distilled in a single season at one distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
This 6-year expression is a blend of two rye mash bills — a high rye and a low rye — showcasing rye spice from the grain, fruit and floral notes from sour mash fermentation, and toasty caramel from barrel aging. Maryland rye at its most disciplined and authentic.
