Sagamore Spirit Bottled in Bond 6-Year-Old Straight Rye marks their commitment to the highest levels of excellence and authenticity — furthering their mission to make Maryland distilled, aged, and bottled products. Enacted in 1897, the Bottled in Bond distinction is one of the oldest and most rigorous quality standards in American whiskey: distilled in a single season at one distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
This 6-year expression is a blend of two rye mash bills — a high rye and a low rye — showcasing rye spice from the grain, fruit and floral notes from sour mash fermentation, and toasty caramel from barrel aging. Maryland rye at its most disciplined and authentic.
